Feb 17th – Tilling, Tea and Cake – a huge success – Why?

Another hugely successful ‘Tilling, Tea and Cake’. It was an absolute joy to see familiar faces and new faces join us for our renowned ‘warm welcome’ by our ‘Meeter and Greeter’ Miriam and our volunteers.
47 guests enjoyed a cuppa, fresh coffee with locally baked cakes and pastries.
Dr Sarah Jacques mingled and when asked, provided “prevention advice’ for people’s Health and Wellbeing.
A hand massage, provided by Julie from A Touch of Gentleness – https://www.atouchofgentleness.org/
was enjoyed by the lucky few. We are hoping Julie will join us on a regular basis.
In addition, 
A HUGE ‘FAiR’ thank you goes to Kate / https://www.haydensinrye.co.uk/ for – once again – providing delicious fruit scones with jam and cream and blueberry croissants. 🙏

Our Murder Mystery Lunch March 23rd at the Mermaid Inn – SOLD OUT.  Thank you to all who have bought ticketss.
And finally, to Cllr Sophie Judge and Evie for promoting us alongside their jumble sale in the main hall raising funds for Evie’s flight ticket to China in 2025. 🙏
