Torrential rain (flaming June?) did not stop guests attending another successful Tilling, Tea and Cake.
Mayor – Andy Stuart joined us and we thank him for speaking warmly and acknowledging the work and services we provide at FAiR – which we continue to develop.
Professional advice and guidance was provided by:
Fiona & Luke of Tech Support (all the way from Eastbourne) offering IT support, Jan Crook/Living Well, with the adorable Ted, a therapy dog, shared her new project ‘For Pete’s Sake’ named after her brother who took his own life 20+ years ago.
Julie and Marian / A Touch of Gentleness – regular volunteers – provided soothing hand massage for 8 guests.
Jo Morphy shared her project ‘The Growing Network‘ which is ‘growing’ across Sussex – guests bring seeds and plants for free. A great idea that FAiR is now going to champion at each monthly event. Sarah / Sussex Outreach Support was there to provide professional medical support and advice to guest.
Kathy, FAiR’s CVTC, updated guests on our new Befriending service and our Crowdfunding for £3K which will fund the Befriending platform for 3yrs.

Finally, but not least – Joanna from Citizens Advice (CAB1066) helped 7 people with challenges they are facing.
