We are absolutely delighted to share that FAiR has been awarded funding by The National Lottery Community Fund for a second time, securing support for our work over the next 12 months. We are incredibly grateful for this investment in our community and for the confidence it shows in the difference our charity is making across the Rye and Rother area. [Re: Good news | Outlook]
This funding is a tremendous boost and will enable us to continue tackling loneliness and social isolation by delivering our much-valued monthly Informative & Social Events, bringing people together to connect, learn, support one another and build stronger communities.
Over the coming year, this support will help us continue providing:
- Our monthly Informative & Social Events
- The FAiR Cancer Café
- Mental Health and Emotional Wellness Support
- PAT Therapy sessions with Ted
- Befriending and companionship opportunities
- Access to information, advice and local support networks
As a small community charity based in the Rye area, we know how important it is that people living in rural communities have opportunities for meaningful social connection and support.
