Befriending

Our first fully funded year has been a triumph in so many ways. 13 months ago, we were an unknown charity.
Thursday November 7th - 'Celebration Lunch Time Social' - to celebrate to say thank you to our wonderful Befriending Coordinator Katherine Crowther, volunteers and supporters of whom there are many.
FAiR (Friends Altogether in Rother) are thrilled to announce the charity has been generously supported by The National Lottery Community Fund with a whopping £19,900. This is a huge acknowledgement of the services FAiR is delivering for the communities of Rural Rother.
We’re rounding off Volunteers Week 24 with a blog about volunteering with Friends Altogether in Rother.
Time for something that will hopefully brighten your day – an update on our progress in setting up the FAiR befriending service, from our new-in-post Community Volunteer Training Coordinator, Kathy Crowther
